Swiss National COVID-19 Science Task Force
The Swiss National COVID-19 Science Task Force advises the public authorities in the current COVID-19 crisis. It ensures that impartial scientific advice is given and informs the public about the latest scientific findings.
The members of the Swiss National COVID-19 Science Task Force do not receive any remuneration or compensation for their work in the Task Force since its foundation. All the conflicts of interest of the members are listed on the "Themes & Expert Groups" page.
The Swiss National COVID-19 Science Task Force has been mandated by the Federal Office of Public Health (FOPH) and the Federal Department of Home Affairs (FDHA).
The Task Force is headed by Prof. Martin Ackermann (ETH Zurich and Eawag, Chair) together with a steering committee consisting of Prof. Manuel Battegay (University of Basel, Vice-chair), Prof. Monika Bütler (University of St. Gallen, Vice-chair) and Prof. Samia Hurst (University of Geneva, Vice-chair).
